Daily Kos - the state of the nation
I have included this blog mainly due to the fact that it is one of America's most influential and well known political blogs. It averages over 700,000 visits a day and has between 20-25m visits per month! It is very left wing and liberal and is a major critic of the current Bush Administration (who isn't nowadays!). It is an example of how blogging has revolutionised political discourse, strategy and debate in the 21st century.

Wait till the fat lady sings...the Republicans may be in a bit of a mess, but that won't be anything compared to the carnage those cheese-eating surrender monkey liberals will do if let loose in Congress!
